This place is GREAT! We were in the area for work and went there several times for breakfast. Huge portions, fresh and delicious. And Violet is so nice and really takes care of her customers.
Love this place, they have good waffles and great French toast.. and good coffee. It's cool to visit with the owner she is cool. Overall great food, good coffee and friendly people.
Foothills Cafe was an awesome Homestyle country breakfast experience. The owner was our server and she was wonderful and we had some great conversation. The food though... omg! Come hungry bc it's a filling yummy big portion breakfast and does not disappoint! My husband and I shared the spicy chicken fried steak which came with delicious gravy on top, eggs, hash browns, and toast. We decided to add a side of bacon and 1 biscuit and gravy and it was so much food but sooooo good! We left very full and very happy!
Stopped here on wednesday after going to new melones lake, walked in and was happily greeted by a waitress who let us sit wherever we wanted. We ordered french toast, eggs, bacon. My girlfriend chorizo with eggs and potatoes. Everything was super great tasting and very quick to be served. I would definitely eat here again. The only thing that kind of sucked was the water. When we first sat down the waitress brought us some waters and asked if we wanted anything to drink so i ordered coffee. Then while we were waiting for the food i tasted the water she had brought us and it tasted awful. Almost as if i was drinking water from outside and down the street where the car wash is. Anyways, its not the business's fault, im sure theyre working to get that problem fixed but it most definitely is worth knowing before eating here. Perhaps try ordering a coffee like i did or a cranberry juice like my girlfriend.
This place was so friendly and great service would totally recommend this place the dood was great. I had sausage eggs hash brown and biscuits and Gravy!!!
Wife and I wanted to support a local breakfast place on our way home (the next morning) after a night at the casino. As usual, Yelp ratings came through again. I got the Logger breakfast and wife got the Popeye omelette. Both were outstanding, very fresh ingredients and large in size. Lots of hot sauces to choose from for your meals...the ghost pepper hot sauce is recommended. This is a classic "local mom and pop" restaurant that serves great food. Highly recommended if in the Sonora area.

Service... kinda fun server... but in a kind and humorous way... you feel a lot of kindness in her interactions.... 4 stars French toast breakfast very good and filling. 4 stars Veggie omelette- cooked perfectly for me... loved that the vegetables were nice and hot 5 stars Coffee.. slot better than our hotel's PS... we didn't order the breakfast burrito... but we saw it!!! Absolutely HUGE... and this not an exaggeration!!!
